ONE ON ONE CARE
We provide one on one care with a licensed physical therapist for your entire treatment time. We believe that this level of attention allows a high level of understanding and responsiveness from your therapist to be able to meet your specific needs as they progress and change throughout your care.
At Kinesi, we dedicate ourselves to making sure that your care is the best that it can be. We stay informed and involved in the most advanced movement science so that you might benefit from the best treatment design and techniques available. We also humbly understand that treatment is only good if it works for you, so we work tirelessly to deliver care that meets your needs.
At Kinesi, your care doesn’t stop when your session ends. If you have questions, concerns, or requests that you feel will help you in your progress, you may contact your therapist by phone or email any time between your sessions and receive contact back within 24 hours. Not only is this contact an added benefit to you in the moment, but the ongoing communication assists your therapist in staying informed and active in adjusting your plan of care.

Kinesi Physical Therapy FAQ:
What do you mean by “Movement Based”?
We mean that your individual movement is the basis for evaluation, treatment planning and treatment progression. We also mean that a medical diagnosis is relevant to your overall care, but the diagnosis itself does not ultimately determine a treatment plan- you and your movement goals do.
What can I expect from my care?
Our treatment sessions typically last 1 hour, during which you will be working with a licensed physical therapist for the whole treatment time. We respect the time and energy you invest in PT and we believe that 1:1 care with a PT is the best way to ensure you are getting the best results your efforts.
During each session, your physical therapist will take time to understand who you are, how you are moving, and what movement goals are most important to you. Your therapist will create a plan of care with you and, utilizing a combination of education, manual therapy, and exercise created specifically for you, will help you make progress toward your goals.
If, at any time, you or your therapist see that your care is not progressing as expected or feel that you need a different kind of care, we will help you find that care.
Do I need a prescription?
The State of Illinois currently requires a prescription for PT services. You may obtain a prescription for PT services from a Medical Doctor (MD), a Nurse Practitioner (APN), a Podiatrist (DPM), a Physician’s Assistant (PA-C), or a Dentist (DDS). If you have any questions about obtaining a prescription or need to find a doctor, please contact us.
Where do you provide your services?
Kinesi, LLC currently offers PT services either in your home or at one of several different locations in the Libertyville, Grayslake, and Mundelein areas. Please contact us if you are interested in scheduling an appointment- we will make arrangements that work for you!
